In a special bulletin to CBC radio Prime Minister has announced that during the 10-day mourning period following her majesty Queen Elizabeth’s death that all Canadian drivers will be required to drive on the left side of the road just as our British cousins.

“To celebrate and honour the legacy of the late Queen, the House of Commons has held an emergency session to enact legislation that will see drivers using the left side of the road while our nation and the world mourns” said Trudeau late Thursday evening.

Jagmeet Singh was also reached for comment, saying to reporters “I will literally do anything at this point to pass universal dental care. While we’re at it let’s knock down the entire Parliament Building minus the Peace Tower and call it Big Ben 2”.
